    • Multi Listed Flexible Wire

    Polar Wire's Single Conductor Multi Listed Flexible Wire is a Class K flexing service wire made with 30 gauge fine conductor stranding for superior flexibility. Excellent oil, heat, acid, and moisture resistance. Constructed of soft annealed bare copper (NO ALUMINUM!) to ASTM Specification B172. Insulated with an extra-flexible extruded, high dielectric PVC jacket that resists abrasion, oils, acids, heat, flame, and moisture, and performs reliably in severe cold temperatures and high heat conditions. 1/0 to 750 MCM are CT (Cable Tray) approved.

    THHW/TEW/MTW/AWM/BC-5W2/SAE TYPE SGT flexible wire holds multiple ratings and certifications:

    • Flexible Building Wire – UL Listed and CSA Certified, constructed to ASTM Specification B172 
    • Fine Strand Battery Cable – Meets and exceeds SAE standards and marine ratings
    • Flexible Welding Cable – Rated for -40°F to 221°F (-40°C to 105°C), meets UL VW-1 and CSA FT1 flame test requirements
    • Single Conductor BC-5W2 Marine Boat Cable – Resists vibration and flexing fatigue, meets or exceeds ABYC standards
